  • Written communication/ Oral communication: As effective communicators, students will be able to generate ethical communications that have a clear purpose, intended audience, and are well organized according to disciplinary conventions.

Jax MIX Assessment

• Department and program training on Jax MIX Assessment is occurring during the Fall 2026 semester. Department and programs are identifying faculty leaders for this training. Any faculty interested in joining this training should contact Dr. Ben Gross, Director of Jax MIX, at bgross@jsu.edu.
• In Spring 2027, all Jax MIX courses will assess the Jax MIX SLOs included in syllabi.
• Starting in AY 2027-2028, Jax MIX will begin a three-year assessment cycle of the Jax MIX SLOs.
