General Amenities for Residence Halls
All JSU residential facilities are air-conditioned, provide free utilities (including Internet), and free laundry. Custodial service is provided to clean public areas only in the residence halls Monday-Friday. Security is provided by the University Police Department (UPD) during the night, and additional measures have been implemented at each building. Resident Assistants (RAs) work security during visitation hours, and Night Desk Assistants (NDAs) provide security after visitation hours. Card access systems at each front entrance provide additional security for our residents.

First-Year Residence Halls
Crow Hall is one of the best places to live on campus for male first-year students! This three-story residence hall is located right next to Dixon Hall on the north side of campus. Free Wi-Fi allows you to work on homework no matter where you are!

Bathrooms: Hall-style, on every floor, maintained by JSU custodial staff.

Rate: $2,040/semester
Curtiss Hall is one of the more popular residence halls for female first-year students. Conveniently located next to Burgess-Snow Field at the JSU Stadium and Dillon Field, this hall allows for residents to be right near many fun campus activities, including housing many sorority chapter rooms in the basement! The University Police Department is located right across the street, so you can feel safer than ever. Curtiss Hall also features a lounge, back patio, and free Wi-Fi throughout the building.

Male first-year students will feel right at home at Dixon Hall. This three-story residence hall is located on the north end of campus right next to Crow Hall. This hall is located just a few steps away from the Chief Ladiga Trail and Bennett Field, which provide easy access to many activities on campus! Dixon Hall features free Wi-Fi and a big screen TV to catch the big game!

Fitzpatrick Hall is a great place to call home for female first-year students! Here, you will make memories that will last a lifetime. We provide special programming and many activities to help you fit in and feel at home. Located near the heart of campus, this residence hall provides easy access to the Quad, Burgess-Snow Field at the JSU Stadium, and Dillon Field, just to name a few. Residents can relax in one of the lounges, or work on homework wherever they are thanks to the free Wi-Fi provided in the hall.

Logan Hall is a spacious three-story hall for female and male first-year students. Logan Hall is located on the north side of campus adjacent to Patterson Hall. Residents can enjoy a big screen tv lounge to relax and spend time with friends and other residents. Free Wi-Fi is provided throughout the entire building, which makes doing homework whenever and wherever you are possible!

Meehan Hall is a fantastic option for both first-year students and upperclassmen. This co-ed hall provides residents with a mix between living in a residence hall and an apartment. Each unit has four private bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchenette, and a common area.
Study and social lounges and exercise rooms can be found on each floor. Computer labs with Wi-Fi can be found throughout the building. This hall also provides easy access to Burgess-Snow Field at JSU Stadium, so residents can be a part of Gamecock Football like never before!
The first floor is reserved for first-year students, with a mix of freshman and upper-class students on the remaining floors. Applicants must mutually request roommates, or roommates will be randomly assigned to each unit.
Concourse units are on the back side of Meehan underneath the stadium and are T-shaped in their floor plan. Pod units are on the front side and are L-shaped in their floor plan. Meehan pod D rooms are smaller than regular pod rooms and they are offered at a reduced cost. There is only one D room per pod. First-year students can choose either option during the room selection period. Efficiency units are single occupancy units and there are only eight available in the building.

North Village, located adjacent to Crow, Patterson and Sparkman Halls, it will be the first new residence hall built on campus since Meehan Hall opened in 2010. It will add 500 much-needed beds to university housing in shared suites consisting of two double occupancy bedrooms with two bathrooms in each unit. A large community area is housed on the first floor consisting of media/TV lounges, conference room, and a convenience store. Residents are sure to enjoy the ample green space that surrounds the residence hall.

You will be able to feel the strong sense of community at Patterson Hall. This three-story, female and male first-year student residence hall is located next to Logan Hall on the north end of campus. Here, residents can relax after a long day at class in the big screen TV lounge or do homework whenever they chose thanks to free Wi-Fi being provided throughout the entire hall!

Sparkman Hall sets itself apart by providing students with the opportunity to learn from a diverse student population. This nine-story, co-ed residence hall is located on Trustee Circle between Ayers and Mason Hall.
Two-person suites are offered on the first eight floors, and one-person suites are offered on the ninth floor. Two-person suites are comprised of two separate rooms joined by a shared bathroom. One-person suites are comprised of a private bedroom and bathroom. Residents can enjoy the quite study rooms or hang in the lounges.

The second and third floors of Sparkman Hall are reserved for our Living-Learning Communities for first-year students that wish to live in the hall. Residents staying on all other floors must have lived on campus for at least one semester or are a transfer student.

Upper-Class Residence Halls
This unique residence hall holds a very diverse group of male residents. It is located right on Trustee Circle with a great view of the Quad on one side and Burgess-Snow Field at JSU Stadium on the other.
