Jacksonville State gives you many options beyond your traditional residence halls. We have seven apartment complexes throughout our campus.
*All rates below are for fall 2025-spring 2026 semesters.

Upperclassmen Apartments

Campus Inn is one of the most popular upperclassmen apartment areas on campus. Located right across the street from Dillon Field and Burgess-Snow Field at AmFirst Stadium, it allows residents to be only steps away from many fun campus events and activities! Campus Inn offers both efficiency and one-bedroom apartment options.
Efficiency apartments consist of a living/bedroom combination, bathroom, and kitchenette with a range and refrigerator. One-bedroom apartments consist of a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen with a refrigerator and a range.
To live here, you must be a sophomore at the time of occupancy.
Laundry: Free-use machines with LaundryView available at Meehan Hall.

College Apartments is located along Highway 21, across the street from the Theron Montgomery Building (TMB) and down the hill from Houston Cole Library.
This apartment complex has one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartments available. Requirements are sophomore status at the time of occupancy.
These apartments consist of a bedroom, bathroom, living room, and kitchen with a refrigerator and range.
Laundry: Free-use machines with LaundryView available at Colonial Arms Apartments.
Furnishings and Amenities: unfurnished, includes all utilities (electricity, water, sewer, trash, and internet)
One-Bedroom Unit: $2,820/semester

Colonial Arms Apartments is another very popular apartment area among upperclassmen. It is located right behind the University Recreation Center and is next to Burgess-Snow Field at AmFirst Stadium, as well as some of the most popular restaurants in Jacksonville.
There are one- and two-bedroom apartments available. Each apartment consists of a living room, one or two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen with a range.
Sophomore status at the time of occupancy is required.
In our two-bedroom units, residents will share an apartment with a requested roommate of the same gender. If a roommate is not requested at the time of application, one will be assigned.

Mountain Street/Goodlett Avenue Homes are one of the new on-campus housing options for upperclassmen residents. Located on both Mountain Street NW and along Goodlett Avenue, these two-bedroom, two-bathroom units are fully furnished and feature all new appliances. Washer and dryer hookups are available if residents want to bring their own.

Pannell Hall Apartments is located in the best areas on campus. Here, you are within walking distance some of the most popular spot at Jax State , such as Jack Hopper Dining Hall, Leone Cole Auditorium, and the Quad.
Pannell Hall Apartments offers one-bedroom and efficiency units. They have a living/bedroom combination, bathroom, and kitchen with refrigerator and range.

Furnishings and Amenities: An adjustable twin bed, a dresser, a desk, a chair, includes all utilities (electricity, water, sewer, trash, and internet)

Penn House Apartments is situated in the western corner of campus, and it is within walking distance of Pete Matthews Coliseum, Rudy Abbott Field at Jim Case Stadium, the Jax State Soccer Complex, and the Jax State Tennis Courts.
These apartments are one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartments. Requirements are sophomore status at the time of occupancy. These apartments consist of a bedroom, bathroom, living room, and kitchen and with a refrigerator and range.

One-Bedroom Unit: $2,980/semester
*The Edge will no longer be available after summer 2026. The Edge lease ends on July 31, 2026. Starting Fall 2026, The Edge will transition to full private management and will not be listed in the JSU Housing Portal. The Edge, a newly constructed apartment complex, located at 1838 Broadwell Mill Road, consists of the following amenities available to upper-class residents. Two bedroom/two-bathroom units are available for students.
The Edge is a 12-month lease, lasting fall, spring, and summer semesters. Students who move into The Edge for the spring semester are also responsible for the summer semester. There is no meal plan requirement at The Edge. To learn more, check out our FAQs!

Two Bedroom Unit: $3,570/semester/person
West Village I is an exciting new housing option for upper-class students, opening Fall 2026. This co-ed community offers modern, apartment-style living that blends the independence of off-campus housing with the convenience and connection of living on campus. Each unit is designed with private bedrooms, private bathrooms, a full kitchen, and a spacious common living area.
Study spaces, social lounges, and community gathering areas will be located throughout the building to support both academic success and student engagement. West Village I is located at the western gateway of campus near Jax State’s athletic facilities, giving residents convenient access to campus events, recreation, and Gamecock athletics.
Applicants will be able to mutually request roommates, or roommates may be assigned by Housing. West Village I is allocated for upper-class students seeking an elevated residential experience.
Unit layouts, consisting mostly of four bedroom units with limited two bedroom units, will vary throughout the building, offering students a range of living options to best meet their needs. Additional details regarding floor plans and unit types will be shared closer to February 2026 with the opening of reapplication.
Laundry: Washer and dryer provided in each apartment.
Bathrooms: Private en-suite bathroom (Self-maintained by residents).
Furnishings and Amenities: Includes all utilities (electricity, water, sewer, trash, and internet)
Bedroom: Private bedroom with a Full XL bed, two-drawer dresser, study desk, and chair.
Common Area: Loveseat, two chairs, coffee table, end table, and media shelf
Residents will have access to high-speed internet throughout the community.
Kitchen: Includes refrigerator, range/oven, dishwasher, and four barstools.
