Cosplay Bootcamp

What to Expect: 

Take your Cosplay skills to the next level in this intense one-week camp!  This camp will feature projects and important tips and tricks for making your own cosplay creations.

      Campers will complete a variety of hands-on projects to increase their sewing, design, make-up, and patternmaking skills for Cosplay, allowing them to better envision and complete creations.  Other projects involve working with new and nontraditional materials such as thermoplastics, patterning, completing foam pieces, sculpting, casting and molding items using the latest silicone products.

Lead Instructor:

Randy Blades is a Professor of Costume Technology in the JSU Theatre and Film Department. He has designed and constructed costumes for theatres across the country and has also presented workshops and panels at Dragon Con and other conferences. His specialties include costume design, costume and crafts construction, and puppetry.
