Students will read Fahrenheit 451, Lord of the Flies, And Then There Were None, and a final book of their own choosing. Readers will participate in book discussions, guided reading time, and activities, including crafts, scavenger hunts, and creative responses to the books.

Game development, including conceptual design, mechanics, story and character development & game prototyping, including sound, animation, artificial intelligence, physics, and game controller input.

Longleaf Studios
The camp features a hands on, no-nonsense approach to the art of film; taking a script developed in creative writing, placing students behind the camera, and setting up creative lighting and learning techniques of boom operation from day one.

What is GASP?

The Gamecock Arts & Sciences Programs (GASP) are an opportunity for community members to experience college-level art and performance activities. This program is geared towards talented youth and life long learners who are serious about furthering their Arts, Humanities, and Sciences Education. The classes and workshops will be taught by faculty, staff, and students of College of Arts, Humanities, and Sciences and community partners.
