Make-Up Exams and Other Proctored Exams
We are happy to help assist with your make-up exams or exams from other academic institutions. For the procedures and process to schedule an exam explore the appropriate section below:
The staff of the Student Success Center (SSC) are available to help faculty and academic departments in finding suitable locations for make-up exams, whether it be in their own academic building or elsewhere on campus. Although it is recommended that academic departments handle make-up exam proctoring, Testing Services can lend a hand in critical or emergency situations. If Testing Services assistance is required, we ask that faculty-approved exam requests to be made with at least two (2) business days' notice. Testing Services schedules appointments based on availability during business hours and cannot guarantee any specific time slots.
It is possible that student-athletes may miss quizzes or exams due to athletic events that have been authorized by Jax State. If a student athlete is faced with a critical or emergency that requires a makeup exam, please do not hesitate to contact us.
For any request to take a make-up exam, an Exam Authorization Form must be submitted. This form allows faculty to specify the exam details, as well as how it will be administered and returned
