Hey y’all! My name is Lacey Langston, and I am so excited to be a part of the Disability Resources family here at Jacksonville State University. I grew up in Alexandria, AL, and now live in Jacksonville, AL, with my husband, Brett and our two dogs- Odin and Noelle.

I began my college experience at Gadsden State Community College, where I received an AS in General Studies. Upon transferring to JSU, I knew instantly that this was home. In August of 2015, I received a BS in Exercise Science and Wellness with a minor in Psychology. I returned to JSU in the Summer of 2020 and began working as a Graduate Assistant in the Student Success Center. In December of 2022, I received a MS in Counselor Education with a concentration in Clinical Mental Health. It is a blessing to work with such a wonderful team and to continue this journey here at the Student Success Center!

When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our dogs, exercising, reading, and spending time with family. I love a good word of encouragement and strive to uplift others by showing the same love that Jesus continues to show me.

My day is always a little brighter when it involves Chick-Fil-A, iced coffee, or listening to music on vinyl.

I look forward to working with you throughout your time at JSU!

Welcome home and Go Gamecocks!
