Proud Partners
For the past year, the Victory Center at Jacksonville State University has had the privilege of serving Veterans and the Total Military Community throughout northeast Alabama through support services, outreach programs, workforce assistance, counseling resources, and community partnerships.
It is with heavy hearts that we share the Alabama Department of Veterans Affairs (ADVA) grant funding supporting the Victory Center came to an end, and the Victory Center’s final business day was Friday, May 29, 2026.
While this chapter is closing, our commitment to caring for Veterans and their families remains deeply important to us. We understand how meaningful these services, relationships, and connections have been to many in our community, and we are committed to helping make this transition as smooth as possible.
Although the Victory Center’s final business day is May 29, Mrs. Christine Franklin will continue to be available throughout the month of June to help with referrals, answer questions, and assist with transitions as we complete the center closeout process.
If you need help finding resources, understanding next steps, or getting connected to services, please reach out to Christine directly at cmfranklin@jsu.edu and she will do everything she can to help point you in the right direction.
To every Veteran, family member, community partner, and supporter who has been part of this mission — thank you. It has been an honor to serve you.
