Welcome to the Victory Center and Victory Workforce Development Services
The Victory Center (VC) brings together Jacksonville State University and trusted community partners to support veterans, reservists, and their families in one welcoming space. At VC, individuals can access free mental health services alongside Victory Workforce Development Services (VWDS), which offers career readiness support, job training, workshops, résumé assistance, educational guidance, peer support, and connections to essential community resources. Together, these services are designed to meet veterans and their families where they are—supporting their health, goals, and next steps toward stability and success.
Between these two initiatives, we provide the following free services by appointment only:Victory Workforce Development Services
- Employment Education Trainings in Leadership, entrepreneurship, small business, management, business analytics, and project management.
- Career Trainings in resume writing, interview prep, and job recruitment.

Military Spouse Employment Partnership
Victory Workforce Development Services (VWDS) is a proud partner of the Department of Defense Military Spouse Employment Partnership (MSEP). The MSEP connects military spouses with hundreds of partner employers who have committed to recruit, hire, promote and retain military spouses. With this Partnership the VWDS commitments to recruit, hire, promote and retain military spouses to support our military families in their service to our nation.
