Miss Jacksonville State University
Miss Jacksonville State University is a time-honored tradition at Jax State. Each year some of the brightest women on campus compete for the crown to represent the university and give back to their community.
The newly crowned Miss JSU 2026, Ellington Jones, will go on to compete for the title of Miss Alabama June 3-6, 2026.
The 2026 Miss Jacksonville State University Competition took place on January 30th, 2026, at 6:00pm in Leone Cole Auditorium. Information on the 2027 Miss Jacksonville State University competition will be released as available.
How to Enter
To enter a Miss Alabama Local Competition the following items are required:
- Interview Fact Sheet (6)
- Community Service Initiative Sheet (6)
- Photo Headshot (5x7) - 6 Printed Black and White, 1 Digital Copy
- Register through Miss America Membership Portal ($49.99)
- Local Contract
- Medical Form
- Certified copy of Birth Certificate
- Copy of driver's license (or transcript for out of state students)
- $100 refundable check
- Talent mp3 or mp4 if applicable
- Talent and Health & Fitness introduction
- Raise at least $30 for the American Heart Association through Spot Fund
Students that are interested in competing should email the Miss JSU director, Abbie Beatty, at abeatty@jsu.edu to receive required documentation. Requirements may be updated for the 2027 competition.
