Miss Jacksonville State University

Miss Jacksonville State University is a time-honored tradition at Jax State. Each year some of the brightest women on campus compete for the crown to represent the university and give back to their community.

The newly crowned Miss JSU 2026, Ellington Jones, will go on to compete for the title of Miss Alabama June 3-6, 2026.

The 2027 Miss Jacksonville State University competition will take place on January 29th at 6:00 PM at the Randy Owen Center.

Interest Meetings

Interested in competing in the 2027 Miss JSU Competition? Attend an interest meeting to learn about requirements to enter and expectations of the next Miss JSU. If you are unable to attend an interest meeting, you must contact the Miss JSU director for a makeup meeting.

• October 29th, 4:30-5:30 PM, Auditorium, 3^rd floor TMB
• November 10th, 6:00-7:00 PM, Campus Tour Room, 3^rd floor TMB

How to Enter the 2027 Miss JSU Competition

To enter a Miss Alabama Local Competition the following items are required:

1. Interview Fact Sheet (6)
2. Community Service Initiative Sheet (6)
3. Photo Headshot (5x7) - 6 Printed Black and White, 1 Digital Copy
4. Register through Miss America Membership Portal
   • Registration Instructions
5. Local Contract
6. Medical Form
7. Certified copy of Birth Certificate
8. Copy of driver's license (or transcript for out of state students)
9. $100 refundable check
10. Talent mp3 or mp4 if applicable
11. Talent and Health & Fitness introduction
12. Raise at least $30 for the American Heart Association through Spot Fund

All paperwork is due to the Dean of Students Office by December 4^th, 2026.
