On Tuesday, August 18, 2026, all new students are invited to attend Campus Connect the day before classes start!

4:00 p.m.
College Connections. Connect with Deans, faculty, and fellow students in your field of study. You will meet at your designated College/Department meeting location listed below.
5:00 p.m.
Peer Mentor Connection. Network with upper level students who can help you navigate college as a new student and show you how to get to Convocation.
6:00 p.m.
New Student Convocation. Join the President, Provost, faculty, staff, the SGA, and GO! Leaders at the Jax State Football Stadium as we kick off the new academic year with the ceremonial ringing of the bell.
7:00 p.m.
Campus Cookout. Connect with GO! Leaders, the SGA, and peers to celebrate the start of your college experience. Food and drinks will be provided.
