Choose Act Alabama

Eligible families can now use Choose Act Funding for Jax State Dual Enrollment.

Jacksonville State University has been approved as an Education Service Provider (ESP) through Alabama’s CHOOSE Act, allowing families to use Education Savings Accounts (ESA) funds to pay for Jax State Dual Enrollment courses.  This will expand opportunities for eligible high school students to earn college credit while completing their high school education and reducing the overall cost of earning a college degree. 

To ensure timely payment of these funds, please do the following:

  1. Add your approved parent to your FERPA waiver by going to https://jaxstate.campusesp.com/
  2. Request your invoice at https://www.jsu.edu/bursar/index.html
  3. Click the Contact Us tab
  4. Complete request form to include Subject: Choose Act and include parents name in the comment section

Once your request has been received by the Office of Student Accounts, an invoice will be emailed to your MyJaxState email address and/or parent email address.   It is the student/parent responsibility to submit this invoice for payment through your ClassWallet account.
