Military Tuition Rate
Tuition and Fee Reduction
To qualify for the specialized tuition rate, you must be in an active component of the US military (active duty, guard, or reserves) or veteran of the US military and apply for the specialized rate with the Veteran and Military Services office.
Active service members will apply for the specialized rate once per academic year and veterans will apply one time at the beginning of their academic career at Jax State.

This specialized rate cannot be used in conjunction with any other institutional scholarships, aide, specialized tuition rates, or tuition assistance.
Students in the the following degree programs do not qualify for the military tuition rate:
- Doctor of Science in Emergency Management
- Doctor of Nursing Practice
- Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership
- Master of Fine Arts, Master of Public Administration, Master of Social Work, Master of Athletic Training, and Master of Business Administration (Starting Fall 23 and after) billed with the graduate degree specialized rate tuition and fees packages
**Master of Fine Arts, Master of Public Administration, Master of Social Work, Master of Athletic Training, and Master of Business Administration students charged the differentiated tuition rates do qualify for the military tuition rate.
