Accelerated J.D./ 3+3 Program

Students at Jacksonville State University may begin their law school journey a year earlier with our 3 + 3 Agreement with Cumberland. This unique program allows Jax State students to earn their bachelor’s degree and law degree in six years instead of the traditional seven. Admission to the 3 + 3 Program is competitive and students who wish to pursue this option must meet Cumberland’s LSAT and GPA admission requirements to be considered for the accelerated degree option. However, if a student is admitted to the 3 + 3 program and successfully completes their law degree, they will be eligible to sit for the bar exam a year earlier, while also reducing the overall cost of their undergraduate and legal education.
