What-If Analysis FAQ

First, run a What-If Analysis with your intended program of study. It will show how your courses fit into your intended program of study. If you like what you are seeing, meet with your advisor and discuss your plan.

It is a tool used to run degree audits under different scenarios (using different catalog year, program, minor, etc.). It helps you gauge how your courses apply to your new program and what remains to meet the degree requirements.

You must choose the “Catalog year” and “Program” to run What-If analysis. If you still get an error, please submit the Degree Works Help Form.

JSU implemented Degree Works starting with the 2021-2022 catalogs. Prior catalogs still utilize CAPP degree evaluation.

Yes, you can print your What-If analysis using the printer icon on the top right corner of the Degree Works screen. You can also save it as a pdf file on your computer.
