For information about textbooks, please go to the JaxBooks Program page.  Since JaxBooks is effective starting with the Fall 2025 term, some of the information and procedures may be delayed until all components are completely updated between the Summer 2025 and Fall 2025 terms.  For example, the Canvas configuration will be updated in August after Summer 2025 ends.

Enable JaxBooks in a Canvas Course to Access eTexbooks

  1. In the course navigation menu, click on Settings.
  2. Click on the Navigation tab.
  3. Locate the button/link called JaxBooks.
  4. Click on the ellipsis on the button, and select 'Enable.'
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on the 'Save' button.
  6. Click on the 'Home' link in the course navigation menu. You will see 'JaxBooks'.
  7. It is active.
