Support Summary

JSU offers many resources for help and support with various technology solutions. Often, issues and questions can best be addressed first by instructors. However, when instructors are not able to provide resolution, the resources below are available to the entire JSU community.

Online@JSU supports Canvas, Kaltura, Honorlock, Turnitin, and other related educational technologies Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm daily. Canvas Support offers 24/7 assistance to the university community through the Help menu within the JSU Canvas LMS. Avenues of assistance include Live Chat, Web Form, Self-Help Guides, and Phone - (877) 404-2235.

Honorlock Support provides 24/7 direct assistance for Honorlock-related issues through the Honorlock interface within Canvas. You may also contact Honorlock Support at (844) 243-2500 or support@honorlock.com, or visit their support page where you will find a system compatibility checker.

The JSU Technology Support Center supports information technologies including but not limited to MyJSU, GEM Outlook Email, MS Office 365 Apps, and computer labs Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm daily. Contact the TSC at techcenter@jsu.edu or 256-782-8324. You may also submit a support ticket from the TSC home page.

Microsoft Teams is supported by both Online@JSU and the Technology Support Center. However, as with othe technologies, issues and questions concerning Teams can often easily be addressed by instructors.
