Joy Pinckard

Joy Pinckard - BS in Design and Automation, Class of 2019

"I could tell a hundred stories about professors giving me their time, experience, and dedication. I never truly understood, during my time at JSU, how valuable or unique that was. I am the person that I am today - independently creative, collaborative, personable, confident - because of those years. You will probably not get this level of dedication at other schools, and you cannot get a personalized educational journey like this online."

Since Graduation:

  • Joy received her Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Alabama in Hunstville in December 2021
  • She is now a Weather Software Applications Engineer for CFD Research in Huntsville, AL
