At the Digital Writing Lab, which is part of the Writing Center, students can find support for all their digital and multimodal writing project needs. Follow the Writing Center Appointments instructions to schedule an appointment!

The Digital Writing Lab (DWL) is an extension of the English Department Writing Center at Jacksonville State University. At the DWL, students can find support for all their digital and multimodal writing project needs. JSU students and faculty can use the DWL to:

  • Work with trained writing center consultants on multimodal and digital writing projects.

  • Use computers with proper specs and access to certain software.

The DWL is a grant-funded initiative that supports students digital and multimodal writing projects at JSU after the pandemic changed how we learn, write, and communicate.

Every computer in the DWL is equipped with important digital writing project software such as: Microsoft Suite, Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Audacity, and Twine.
