Shea Prickett

Ms. Prickett, originally from Smyrna, Georgia, came to Jacksonville State University in 2012. During her time in undergraduate studies, she was a member of SGA, the Writing Club, and Phi Mu Fraternity. After obtaining her Bachelor of Art, she continued her education at JSU to complete a Master of Art in English. In the spring of 2019, she began teaching in the English Department as an Adjunct Instructor. In the fall of 2021, she became a full-time Visiting Instructor.

Since 2019, she has taught English Composition, American Literature, Oral Communication, and Writing Studio. Her favorite course to teach is composition.

She serves as an advisor for the Kappa Sigma chapter of Phi Mu Fraternity.
