Finals Week Survival Guide

We wish students the best of luck this week with final exams. Here are a few resources and tools to help the week go more smoothly.

1. Review the Final Exam Schedule.

2. Sign up for tutoring. Support is offered for free in most core courses to all Jax State students. Check out the Finals Week Tutoring Schedule and make an appointment in JSU Navigate. Tutor.com is also available for free, 24/7, through Canvas. 

3. Head over to Houston Cole Library, which will be offering extended hours this week: Monday-Thursday, 7 a.m. to 1 a.m., and Friday, 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m..  

4. Practice these Study Tips from the Student Success Center:

1. Use your notes to create flashcards, outlines, study guides - and to predict exam questions. 
2. Review your notes, slides and study guides each day.  
3. Recite and re-state information to enhance your memory skills.  
4. Create a study group or use the Study Buddies feature in the Navigate Student app.

Organize your time and take breaks as needed.
