Dr. Renda is an Assistant Professor in the Psychology Department. She is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and has provided clinical services to individuals with special needs. She serves as a supervisor for students seeking certification through the Behavior Analysis Certification Board and is interested in methods that promote high-quality supervision and training. Broadly, her research interests span the experimental analysis of behavior and applied behavior analysis. Much of her research has examined environmental variables that influence self-control and impulsive choice (delay discounting) using nonhuman models. Dr. Renda is currently studying behavior-analytic teaching strategies designed to improve academic performance in university students.
