Mrs. Shirley is from Rainbow City, Alabama and is a 2-time-graduate of Jacksonville State University. She first joined Jacksonville State University as a clinical instructor in 2022 after gaining experience working in critical care and the post-anesthesia care unit. She joined the nursing faculty in 2026 and currently teaches NU 306: Pharmacology.
