Mrs. Pearce's nursing career began in Birmingham as a labor and delivery nurse at St. Vincent’s Hospital. She has worked as a clinical adjunct in the Community Health Nursing course at the Ida V. Moffett School of Nursing at Samford University. August 2014, she began teaching upper-division nursing students at Jacksonville State University full time. Currently, she teaches Community Health Across the Lifespan and Transition to Professional Nursing in the traditional BSN program and Population-Based Health Care in the RN-BSN STEP program.
