Jax State students looking to get ahead on their degree can take advantage of reduced fees and unique classes by enrolling in Summer 2024.
The university will reduce the costs this summer by decreasing the general university fee for undergraduate and graduate students. Online learning fees will also be waived, allowing students to take summer classes wherever they are while making progress on their degree at a reduced cost.
For students who want to stay on campus this summer, they can also apply for summer housing. Students can have fun in the sun while taking in-person courses as well. While living on campus during the summer, students can take advantage of the outdoor pool at the Recreation and Fitness Center and attend summer events on campus.
Whether they are taking courses online or in-person, students have a variety of unique electives to choose from. They can pen a novel in EH 354 or learn to meal prep in FCS 122 – all while earning college credit.
“With the reduced summer fees, we want students to take advantage of all Jax State has to offer in summer, such as getting ahead on their degree or getting more connected with the campus through unique courses and fun events,” said Jessica Wiggins, associate vice president of enrollment management.
