Disaster Recovery Center - Historic Jacksonville Train Depot, 650 Mountain Street, N.W., Jacksonville

The first stop for affected resident needing assistance.

Hours: Monday - Saturday, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.; Closed Easter Sunday

Available: United Way/211, Red Cross, insurance companies, mental health services, ID replacement, SNAP assistance, Catholic Charities, East Alabama Planning Commission

Donation Center - Jacksonville First United Methodist Church, 109 Gayle Avenue, S.W., Jacksonville

Open: Monday - Saturday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Closed Easter Sunday

Available: water, snacks, non-perishable food items, paper towels, bath tissue, paper, eating supplies, buckets, boxes, crates, blankets, gloves, tarps, clean up kits, yard/garbage bags, cleaning supplies, rakes, shovels, baby wipes, pet food/treats, flashlights, batteries, social worker for any emotional/social needs.

Red Cross Shelter & Alabama Baptist Disaster Relief Site - Eagle Point Church, 301 Henry Road, S.W., Jacksonville

Open: Daily, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.

Available: shelter (with 3 hot meals provided), blankets, cots, tarps, non-perishable food, snacks, water, showers, socks, pillows; call 256-656-6408 to have your property placed on the Disaster Relief list for clean up

Calhoun County Emergency Management Agency/Volunteer Reception Center - Jacksonville Community Center, 501 Alexandria Road, S.W., Jacksonville

Open: Monday - Thursday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Friday &  Saturday 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.; Closed Easter Sunday

Available: coordinating volunteers for debris removal, organizing major relief efforts, portable charging devices provided by F&M Bank, hot showers available 7 a.m.-7 p.m.

Samaritan's Purse Site - Jacksonville First Baptist Church, 230 7th Street, N.E., Jacksonville

Available: hot lunch from 11:30 a.m. -1 p.m., care bags (toiletries & cleaning supplies); Samaritan’s Purse volunteers will be clearing debris, removing fallen trees, tarping roofs & recovering residents’ belongings – call 256-365-4468 to have your property added to their list

JSU Student Affairs Office

We are coordinating housing for displaced students who reside on campus. We will notify you when this is complete. Furthermore we are working with outside agencies to address the housing needs of students who live off campus. If you live off campus, please complete the Off Campus Housing Accommodation Request Form.

Open: 24/7

Available: hot meal served around 5pm until Wednesday 3/28, toiletries, snacks, clothing of all sizes

Available: hot showers, towels, showering supplies (CST will provide buses to the HS from Eagle Point and the Community Center)

Open: Mon 3/26 & Tues 3/27, 8am-2pm

Available: shampoo and haircut

First Baptist Church of Williams - 5579 Nisbet Lake Road, Jacksonville

Available: volunteers will be removing debris, fallen trees, assisting residents with clean up in Pleasant Valley area
