Management: Human Resource Management (Bachelor of Science)

The Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management prepares students to meet the challenges of strategic and operational human resource roles. This concentration offers students the opportunity to develop analytical and interpersonal skills required for employment. Students will be exposed to HR topics ranging from labor relations to employment law to compensation and benefits programs to employee training and development. By the time students graduate, their experiences may include: an HR-specific internship; mentoring relationships with faculty who are active in local businesses’ HR departments and in HR societies; and professional development and networking through Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
