The purpose of the Office of Advancement Services is to support the university's fundraising activities. Gifts have supported scholarships, educational program enhancements, new instructional equipment purchases, and faculty and staff development programs.
The Office of Advancement Services provides executive leadership and administrative oversight for all donor-based financial records. In addition, the office maintains a campus-wide gift records system to document, acknowledge, and report all charitable contributions given for the benefit of JSU.
Advancement Services provides support and information for Alumni Engagement, University Development and many other university departments as well as donors and friends of the university.
