Accepted Student Events

JSU students hanging out on the Ladiga Trail near campus

Admitted JSU students have the opportunity through accepted student events to explore JSU, connect with their future academic department, and get assistance completing important next steps to complete enrollment. The Office of Admissions hosts large and smaller events, as well as one-on-one meetings to serve our Future Gamecocks!

Accepted Student Days

Accepted Student Day is an exclusive event for accepted freshmen to connect with the academic department of their intended major. Although dates for Accepted Student Days events have passed, students can connect with their Admissions Counselor to review and complete next steps:

Apply for Financial Aid

Apply for Housing

Apply for Living Learning Communities

Register for Gamecock Orientation

Complete MedProctor forms

Register for Selective Service (if required)

Admitted Student Meetings

Admissions Counselors host admitted student meetings for accepted students at most high schools, or admitted student groups across counties, to review next steps and answer admitted student questions.

Have Questions?

Cocky Chats are a way for admitted students to meet virtually, one-on-one with their Admissions Counselor to have any Future Gamecock question answered.
