Accepted Student Events

JSU students hanging out on the Ladiga Trail near campus

Admitted JSU students have the opportunity through accepted student events to explore JSU, connect with their future academic department, and get assistance completing important next steps to complete enrollment. The Office of Admissions hosts large and smaller events, as well as one-on-one meetings to serve our Future Gamecocks!

Accepted Student Days

Accepted Student Day allows Future Gamecocks to connect with the academic department of their intended major. Attendees and their guest will also hear from Admissions staff about next steps, and have the opportunity to meet with financial aid and visit various open houses across campus.

Admitted Student Meetings

Admissions Counselors host admitted student meetings for accepted students at most high schools, or admitted student groups across counties, to review next steps and answer admitted student questions.

Next Step Nights

These nights, held in the spring are a chance for students to get assistance in a small group setting in completing next steps such as applying for scholarships (before the Feb 1 deadline), housing, and registering for Gamecock Orientation.

Future Gamecock Nights

Future Gamecock Nights are evening admissions presentations that allow Future Gamecocks to learn more about the Friendliest Campus in the South! Admissions Counselors will present JUS information, play a game to get to know JSU better, and take any questions!

Have Questions?

Cocky Chats are a way for admitted students to meet virtually, one-on-one with their Admissions Counselor to have any Future Gamecock question answered.
