The University Police Department would like to remind everyone in the JSU community to stay vigilant. Recently, several incident of thefts have been reported, including the unlawful entry into motor vehicles. We urge the community to secure your personal property and other items of value. This can be accomplished by locking your vehicles, dorm rooms, and work areas. Most thefts are crimes of opportunity so make sure to secure your valuables and not leave them in plain sight. Please report any suspicious persons or activity to UPD.
