Christopher Serrano, Piano
Christopher Serrano first started playing piano when he was 11 years old. Ever since, he has received many opportunities and awards for performance and piano literature. Mr. Serrano has had the opportunity to perform for the University of Montevallo, Samford University, the University of Alabama, Jacksonville State University, Lee University, and the University of Florida. He has also had the opportunity to perform outside of the country in China, Philippines, and Eastern Europe. Mr. Serrano currently accompanies the JSU Encore! Show Choir and sings with the A Cappella Choir and Chamber Singers. He is majoring in General Music and hopes to earn his Performance Degree.
Allison Myers, Guitar
Allison Myers is a senior at Jacksonville State University and currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. She began teaching herself guitar at age thirteen, and has been playing for nine years now. Allison studies trumpet as her primary instrument under the instruction of Dr. John Merriman. She also studies piano under Dr. Gail Steward. Allison enjoys teaching all ages and has a passion to see students succeed. This will begin her third year as the Music Prep Program guitar teacher.
