Hey Future Gamecocks!

My name is Pacey Strickland, and I am excited to serve dual enrollment students across the state of Alabama. I am originally from Ashland, Al, but Calhoun County has felt like home since I started at Jax State in 2019.

I graduated from Jax State with my bachelor’s degree in communications in the Spring of 2023. As a first-generation college graduate, I am passionate about the opportunities that a person can gain from obtaining their bachelor’s degree.

In my free time, you can likely catch me getting rowdy at a Braves game, ripping open packs of sports cards, or enjoying a night at the movie theater. I currently live in White Plains with my wife (a May 2024 Jax State grad), our two sons, and our pets.

Dual Enrollment had a major impact on my academic journey, and I want to make sure students in our program continue to succeed! I’m happy to answer any questions you have along the way.
