Hey Everyone!

I’m Marisa Cassibo and work with Dual Enrollment students and their families. While I am relatively new to Alabama, I am thrilled to be a part of the Jax State team and a proud parent of a Jax State student!

In 2021, I received my bachelor’s degree in history with a minor in elementary education from the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs. My experiences as a teacher and coach helped prepare me to anticipate the needs and questions students and families face when embarking on the new endeavor that is college.

I’m passionate about meeting students and families where they are, while walking with them as they build confidence for what’s next! I look forward to working with you on your journey at JSU. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions.
