Hi Everyone! I am Joshua Buzan, and I am super excited to be coming back to Jax State to serve as an Admissions Counselor! I am the Admissions Counselor for counties in Alabama.
I received my Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with a minor in Psychology from The University of Alabama in 2022. I have lived in Jacksonville for majority of my life and attended Jax State from 2016 – 2018, and still feel deeply connected the university and super excited to see it grow in real time. I live in Jacksonville with my fiancée and our cat (Noodle). In my free time I like to do a little woodworking, play videogames, or workout!
My main goal in life is to help people, and I found my love for Higher Education through my time as an Orientation Leader and I haven’t looked back! I could not be more excited to be your Admissions Counselor and I am so looking forward to helping you out on your journey to Jax State. I will be there for you every step of the way. So, if you have any questions or if you just need some support, I will always be there to assist in any way I can!
