Campus Observes Thanksgiving 2019

Campus will be closed for Thanksgiving break Nov. 25-29.

The Recreation and Fitness Center will only be closed the day of and after Thanksgiving. View UREC hours here. Houston Cole Library will be closed Nov. 23-30. View library hours here.

Dining: The Gamecock Diner will be closed Thursday and Friday, Nov. 21-22. The Jack Hopper Dining Hall, TMB Food Court, Jazzman’s and the Peak will close at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22. WOW will be closed on Friday, Nov. 22. All dining locations will reopen on Dec. 2. 

Celebrate Thanksgiving at the Foothills Fall Festival on Nov. 21, 3-8 p.m., in front of Pete Mathews Coliseum. The Jack Hopper Dining Hall will serve its traditional Thanksgiving lunch and dinner on Thursday. The cost is a meal swipe or $10. 

As soon as campus reopens from Thanksgiving break, it will kick off the holidays with JSU in Lights on Dec. 2, 4:30 p.m., at the President's House. Unwrapped toys will be collected to brighten the holidays for needy children.
