Opera and Technical Auditions

The David L Walters Department of Music is hosting auditions for their upcoming spring 2026 performances of Stanley Hollingsworth’s The Mother and Douglas Moore’s Gallantry.

  • Auditions will be October 7, from 6:00PM-7:30PM in Studio 260.
  • Be prepared to sing one song or aria the classical repertoire.
  • Please bring a resume for Stage Manager and other Technical position interviews.
  • You are encouraged to bring a resume and headshot.
  • Arrive at least 10-15 minutes before your assigned time to fill out the audition form.

Gallantry by Douglas Moore:

  • Announcer (mezzo-soprano)
  • Lola Markham, the nurse (soprano)
  • Donald Hopewll, a patient (tenor)
  • Doctor Gregg (baritone)
  • Three Sales Ladies (dancers) for Lochinvar Soap and Billy Boy Wax!
