My career began in Metro Atlanta Georgia as an Elementary Physical Education Teacher for several years before coming to JSU in 2002. At JSU, I teach Physical Education and Health Education Teacher Education Prep Methods Courses, supervise practicum and interns in HPE as well as Adapted PE. I currently serve as the HPE Undergraduate Program Chair as well as the Physical Education edTPA and Praxis prep coordinator.
In my spare time, I am the faculty Coach of our JAX State Competition Club Pickleball Team that competes nationwide in DUPR, APP and other collegiate tournaments. Visit @jsu_pickleball_club on Instagram for more information.
