President's and Provost's Faculty Fellows Spring 2026 Cohort Applications
The President’s and Provost’s Faculty Fellows program aims to provide faculty members with opportunities for professional growth, collaboration, and the development of innovative initiatives within the university community.
Applications are now being accepted for the Spring 2026 Faculty Fellows Cohort, featuring the President’s “Quality Teaching with AI” Track and the Provost’s “Quality Assessment of Student Learning Outcomes” Track.
Faculty selected to participate in the Faculty Fellows Spring Cohort will receive a stipend of $500, to be paid during Spring 2026 semester. Faculty interested in applying for a chance to become the President’s or Provost’s 2026 Faculty Fellow must complete specified requirements from their desired track and be available to participate in the Spring 2026 collaborative Faculty Fellows Cohort.
President’s Faculty Fellow: Quality Teaching with AI: Faculty wishing to apply for this track must have completed the following requirements:
- Register for and complete the Teaching with AI course offered by Auburn University by November 21.
- Attend at least two sessions from the Teaching with AI Canvas Course Discussion Series, hosted by Faculty Commons, during Fall 2025. Faculty who are unable to attend the series due to scheduling conflicts may still apply if they can demonstrate equivalent AI engagement, such as attending an AI-related conference or webinar, participating in AI-focused research, or teaching a course that integrates AI, etc.
Provost’s Faculty Fellow: Quality Assessment of Student Learning Outcomes: Faculty wishing to apply for this track must have completed the following requirements:
- Attend at least three sessions from the Jax MIX Advancing Quality Assessment series, during Fall 2025. Faculty who are unable to attend the three required sessions due to scheduling conflicts may still apply if they can demonstrate equivalent experience with assessment, such as program assessment, assessment-based research, or some other assessment-based project involvement
