Dr. Warfield is a Mississippi native who joined the College of Education and Professional Studies at Jacksonville State University in 2015 and currently teaches in the Instructional Leadership & Teacher Leader Programs. Prior to joining the Professional Counseling and Leadership Department, Dr. Warfield served as a high school principal, curriculum and instruction assistant principal, community college science instructor, and high school science teacher. Dr. Warfield is continuously seeking creative ways to foster dynamic learning environments, promote high quality instruction, and provide practical experiences and mentor future instructional leaders.

Dr. Warfield has advanced a primary line of inquiry through her scholarship in instructional leadership by taking an interest in P-12 education, multicultural education, and mentorship.
