Lab Descriptions and Capabilities
Additive Manufacturing Innovation & Training Lab – Equipped with metal, polymer, and composite 3D printers from EOS, Stratasys, Markforged, and more. Capabilities include prototyping, fixture design, reverse engineering, and part production using state-of-the-art technologies.
Automation Hub – A robotics and automation training hub featuring over 40 industrial grade robots like FANUC & UR with applications like Collaborative Mig Welding, 2D Vision, 3D Vision, deburring, Pick & Place and more. Companies and students get unmatched hands-on experience while obtaining industry recognized certifications.
Advanced Manufacturing Hub – A full-service machining and fabrication center with CNC mills, lathes, waterjet cutting, EDM, and laser processing, supporting everything from prototyping to precision manufacturing.
3D Scanning Lab – Featuring Creaform and other high-resolution scanners, this lab supports part inspection and metrology for design validation and quality assurance.
Reverse Engineering & Metrology Lab – Provides precision measurement, material testing, and the ability to recreate obsolete or unsupported components, extending equipment life and improving product reliability.
