Jianping "Coco" Huang

Dr. Huang is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Marketing and Management and the future Director of the Customer NeuroInsights Research Laboratory (CNRL) at Jacksonville State University. She received her Ph.D. and Master’s degrees from The University of Memphis and hold an MBA degree from Nanjing University, China. Prior to beginning her academic career, she worked for 10 years as a purchase manager in auto industry. Dr. Huang' research involves strategic marketing plans, primarily in the context of services, advertisement, "green marketing", and marketing to children. Dr. Huang is very excited with her coming role as Director of JSU new "neuro" lab, she also pursues research opportunities that emphasize the application of physiological and neurological measurement systems with her students in studying attention, emotion, and engagement. Her work has been published in Journals of Advertising Research, Journal of Public Policy and Marketing. Her research has been recognized at a number of international conferences, including the AMA Summer, AMA Public & Policy, AMS, and the Society of Marketing Science conferences. In addition, Dr. Huang serves as a guest speaker in Henan University, China.
