am a molecular biologist and microbiologist. My research interest focus on host microbial interactions. Currently my research is focused on identifying the antimicrobial properties of chalcones in collaboration with Dr. Latorya Hicks of Hendrix College. Additionally, I enjoy working on fungal pathogens and plant host interactions by identifying ways to improve plant resistance to fungal pathogens.
