Growing Gamecocks
Growing Gamecocks is a program designed to engage and excite the future students of JSU! Alumni, family, and friends can enroll their child in the program to receive annual gifts or birthday cards on or around the child's birthday each year. Enrolled high school students who have been admitted to Jax State are eligible for the one-year, non-renewable Growing Gamecock Scholarship. This scholarship will cover the remaining cost of tuition after the recipient's First-Time Freshman merit scholarship is applied. One award will be made per year. Criteria is as follows:
- Must be a member of the Growing Gamecocks Legacy Program
- Special consideration will be given to those students that have:
- Demonstrated a commitment to community involvement through volunteerism
- Participated in extracurricular activities
- Demonstrated leadership skills
