The Student Activities Council (SAC) meets at various times throughout the year to plan entertainment and other activities for JSU students. The SAC is the campus programming board responsible for bringing a variety of entertainment and other events of JSU. The following SAC committees are made up of interested JSU students:J-Day
Lights, Camera, You! The Movie Night Committee provides box office hits throughout the fall and spring for students on Tuesday Nights.
Fun in the Sun! The Family Day and J-Day Committee assists in lining up various forms of entertainment for students and parents alike. We need people to help with all activities.
SGA Tailgate Parties! Come and join in on all the fun and free food during football season at JSU home games.
Calling All Cooks! The Cookout on the Quad is a fun event to get the semester off to a good start. No apron required.
We WILL Rock You! The Major Entertainment Committee needs plenty of volunteers to assist with our concert from personal band runners to front stage security. We need YOUR help!
National Association of Campus Activities (NACA)
Members of the Student Activities Council attend the National Association for Campus Activities Conference which is held each year. Members preview the latest trends in entertainment and network with other universities to bring high quality entertainment to the students of JSU.
