Parking Decal Registration

All faculty, staff, and students are able to complete parking registration through their MyJaxState account. 

Standard parking decals are purchased for $100.00 per vehicle.  

  • Student decal charges will be posted directly to the student account.
  • Faculty/staff will be charged by payroll deduction only. 
  • Non-J-Tag decals are mailed to the address provided during the registration process.
  • Parking decals can take up to 21 business days to arrive in the mail. 

  • Permits will continue to be ordered through your MyJaxState account, and the parking permit cost remains free for all  J-Tags.  
  • You will upload a copy of your license plate receipt when placing the permit order. A legible scanned copy or photograph will be acceptable. 
  • Once your order is placed, Parking Services staff will electronically validate the permit order. Once confirmed, your permit will be virtually activated.
  • Your J-Tag will serve as your parking decal for the 2026-2027 school year, but you are still required to complete the online order. 

Employees with 25 years or more of dedicated university service and Jax State retirees may obtain parking decals free of charge. Applicants should register through the J-Tag portal and upload documentation from Human Resources to certify their eligibility.

Decal holders, who have a temporary need to park a non-registered vehicle on Jax State property, may request a temporary permit for increments of one day or two weeks. Students and employees shall complete the temporary permit requests through their MyJaxState account. 

Individuals who are Jax State vendors and subcontractors, parking vehicles on Jax State properties beyond the temporary two-week limit, shall purchase a standard parking decal.  

  • Create an account through the online parking permit portal.
  • Select the designated campus vendor option.
  • Pay by credit card or pay at the Office of Student Accounts located at 245 Angle Hall.
  • Decals are mailed to the address provided during the registration process.
  • Parking decals can take up to 21 business days to arrive in the mail.
