Faculty/Staff Parking Decal Registration - Registration opens August 7, 2012
- Single decal costs $25, payable through payroll deduction
- FREE decal if your vehicle has a registered JSU license plate issued by the DMV (J Tag)
Note: You still must register your vehicle and display the proper decal for your parking zone - Need two decals? Purchase one additional decal during registration for $1
Note: Requests for more than two decals must be approved by UPD; purchasing decals for others is strictly prohibited.
Ready to Register?
- Make, Model, Year and Color of Vehicle
- Driver's License
- Vehicle Registration (tag receipt)
How to Register
- Log in to MyJSU and select Faculty/Staff Parking Decals under Employee Links;
- Complete registration;
- Bring Driver's License, Vehicle Registration (tag receipt) and online registration confirmation page to UPD at Salls Hall. UPD is open 24 hours a day, but to avoid delays, it is suggested to pick your decal up Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
- Anyone requiring special consideration should e-mail Buddy Smith at bsmith@jsu.edu or call him at 256-782-5566. Ms. Karen Bates can also assist at 256-782-5287.
Important Notes
Outstanding parking citations must be cleared at the Bursar's Office prior to being issued a 2012-13 decal.
Decals must be permanently affixed inside the front windshield, at the passenger side lower corner using the decal's self-adhesive. Decals must be visible at all times.

Non-JSU Personnel Parking Decal Registration(Note: Non-JSU Personnel are individuals who work on JSU property but are not on JSU payroll. A few examples: Sodexo and TV-24 employees; ROTC program; frequent guests and visitors to the university who wish to purchase a decal in lieu of obtaining a visitor/temporary pass)
