Calling All Singers-- Civic Chorale Begins Rehearsals for Spring Season on January 14

On Monday, January 14, 2013 the Calhoun County Civic Chorale will begin rehearsals for its spring concert season. Rehearsals are held Monday evenings from 7:15 p.m. – 9:15 p.m. in the Performance Center of Mason Hall and the Jacksonville State University campus. The Chorale will be joining forces with the JSU A Cappella Choir to perform Mozart’s Requiem.

Scaleback Alabama Kicks Off January 22

Jacksonville State University will once again be participating with hundreds of other organizations in a statewide weight-loss program called “Scale Back Alabama.” The 10-week program is designed to capitalize on those New Year’s resolutions and create a fun atmosphere for weight loss and physical activity.
