Calling All Eagle-Eyed Gamecocks...

A layer of rocks, with one painted with a Gamecock and the words "Stay Cocky"

Dear Jax State Community,

We’re excited to introduce a new and enjoyable activity to explore our beautiful campus: the Jax State Rock Hunt! This is a fantastic way to engage with the campus environment, meet fellow students and staff, and add a bit of adventure to your day.

Here’s How It Works:

  1. Find a Rock: As you stroll around the Jax State campus, keep an eye out for colorful, uniquely decorated rocks. They could be hidden in plain sight or tucked away in unexpected spots!
  2. Take a Selfie: Once you find a rock, snap a selfie with it and tag us on social media with Facebook: @JAX STATE UREC, Instagram: @jaxstate_urec, or Twitter: @jaxstateurec. Share your excitement and show us where you discovered your rock!
  3. Decide What to Do: After taking your selfie, you have two options:
    • Keep the Rock: If you’d like, you can keep the rock as a fun memento of your find.
    • Re-hide the Rock: Alternatively, you can re-hide the rock somewhere on campus for someone else to discover and enjoy.

Why Participate?

  • Explore Campus: Discover new corners of Jax State and see our campus in a fresh, exciting way.
  • Get Involved: Connect with other students and staff through social media and share your finds.
  • Have Fun: Enjoy a playful and interactive activity that adds a touch of adventure to your daily routine.

We can’t wait to see your rock selfies and hear about your finds! Happy hunting, and may you uncover some wonderful surprises around our campus.
