Since its beginning in 1981, the Alabama SBDC at Jacksonville State University has contributed to the economic vitality of Alabama by helping generate sales and jobs for Alabama businesses. The Alabama SBDC at Jax State is a member of the Alabama SBDC Network, a statewide service network. Funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), the Alabama SBDC at Jax State is hosted by Jacksonville State University and is nationally accredited by the Association of SBDCs.

The Alabama SBDC at Jax State maintains strong partnerships with area chambers of commerce to provide no-cost business services to the small business community. Advisors, on a monthly schedule, visit the chambers below to make SBDC services readily available. The following is a list of our monthly chamber of commerce visits and the phone numbers to call to schedule an appointment. The business assistance is at no cost and confidential. Please note that SBDC advisors will only be present at the chamber offices if an appointment has been made in advance, due to travel budget constraints.
