Scholarship Details

• Employment must be verified before the payment deadline each semester.
• This scholarship is not retroactive.
• This scholarship is not available to students who are being or who will be awarded other forms of institutional aid or discounts.
• This scholarship is not available to students who are enrolled in doctoral programs or other programs with special package pricing.
• Current or returning JSU students must have at least a 2.0 institutional GPA to be eligible for this scholarship.

Honda Cohort - Industrial Leadership Microcredential

Participating in Honda's cohort for the Industrial Leadership microcredential at Jax State allows you to gain formal industry knowledge by completing Jax State courses online while working full-time. The cohort model allows you to learn alongside your coworkers to apply classroom knowledge to real-world situations. Participation requires prior Honda approval as well as admission to Jax State. Follow the below steps to complete your application:

1. Go to Honda Web and type "AAP Graduate."

2. Access the Management Approval Form that is linked in the Honda Application Form.

3. Once given management approval, fill out the Honda Application. At minimum, associates must meet the below criteria for Honda approval:

• Full-time Honda associate in US
• 90+ days of service
• Performance rating of 3 or higher
• No disciplinary action in the last 12 months

4. Once Honda application is approved, submit the Jax State "Non-Degree Seeking" application. Follow the instructions below:

• Select "Fall 2024" as the entry term
• Select application type of "Transient/Non-Degree"
• Select program/major of "Non-Degree Seeking"
• Answer "yes" to the Business Partnership question and select Honda

5. Submit required supporting documents. View requirements on the Admissions website

• Earned college credit after high school: Submit official transcript from last college attended
• Did not earn college credit after high school: Submit official high school transcript

6. Once admitted, connect with your assigned academic advisor for course registration

Complete the Business Partnership Scholarship Application

Use your MyJaxState login information to access the Business Partnership Scholarship Application below and complete the following:

• Select your term and partnership
• Enter your employer representative’s name and official work email address

After you submit, your employer will automatically receive a secure link to verify your employment. Once they complete their portion, the form routes directly to our office for processing.

Before You Submit:

• Double-check your employer representative’s email address for accuracy.
• Make sure you’ve selected the correct term and partnership.

Business Partnership Scholarship Application

Important: Your scholarship cannot be finalized until the application is submitted. You will receive a notification once the application has been submitted by all parties. 

Information for Employer Representatives

If a student lists you as their employer representative, you will receive an automated email with a secure link to complete the employment verification portion of the Business Partnership Scholarship Application.

How to Complete the Verification:

1. Click the secure link provided in the email from noreply@jsu.edu.
   • Please add this email address as a trusted sender/contact so the messages are sent to your main inbox
2. Log in to your NextGen Dynamic Forms account.
   • If you do not already have an account, you will be prompted to create one.
3. Complete the Employer Representative section and submit the form.

Once submitted, the form is automatically routed to Jacksonville State University for processing.

Please note: You will use your NextGen Dynamic Forms login credentials for any future scholarship employment verifications, so we recommend saving your login information for easy access.
