Jax State Announces Inaugural 22 Under 40 Young Alumni

JACKSONVILLE, Ala. – Jacksonville State University has announced its inaugural class of 22 Under 40 Young Alumni. The new recognition program honors Jax State graduates under the age of 40 who have distinguished themselves through professional achievement, leadership, service and engagement with their communities and the university. The number 22 honors Jax State’s founding on Feb. 22, 1883.

"These young alumni demonstrate what it means to be a Jax State graduate," said Dr. Wendy Cash, director of Alumni Engagement. "They are rising leaders in their professional careers who are caring, involved citizens who give back to their communities and set an example for others around them. We are very proud of our inaugural honorees and celebrate their accomplishments."
